Google is hardly self innovating…more like repackaging.
The thing is they have a remarkable success at remaking whats already made…
Take Google Chrome for instance.
That pretty much sums that up doesn’t it…
Even things like Google Docs is re-processed re-packaged MS Office. This cloud based solution is just as powerful if not more than its rival. Its simplicity in keeping one document accessible from multiple locations is a breeze. Plus collaborating on documents with multiple parties with a few clicks through a friendly user interface just feels right.
Forms for surveys helps end users input data that can be gathered by others easier than ever. It’s an Internet based world and Google Docs is about as relevant as it can be.
Google calendar can sync over exchange server and across multiple devices with ease making it great for calendarising your events and coordinating people. These calendars can be embeded into html with ease for public viewing.
Now with innovations like Google voice you can cloud base your tele-presence completely. The possibilities of use are near endless. The ability to refer back to every text message I’ve ever sent through my GV account has saved me more than once. Options for user control are phenomenal.
This barley scratches the surface really. I could go on about Android, Googles mobile OS, Google talk and things like Ad Sense…
Before long Google will own the universe.
