Haunted Theme Park

I found this set of destroyed Six Flags pics after the hurricane Katrina disaster.

They have a creepy post apocalyptic feeling and you fully expect to see zombies peeking out from behind the rides.

Apparently the photographers risked both the zombie attack, and possible arrest to bring them to us for our viewing pleaser.

Lightning Volcano Eruption

According to the news, Chile has had a massive volcano in the Caulle Cordon of southern Chile last Saturday. It erupted violently, billowing smoke and ash high into the sky and prompting more than 3,500 people living nearby to evacuate and forcing cancellation of flights. Ash and gas continued to billow from the earth on Sunday.

There were no reports of injuries from Saturday’s eruption.

A column of gas six miles high and three miles wide rose from Puyehue/Cordon Caulle complex, according to Chile’s National Geology and Mining Service.

Nautical nightmare of the salty sea…pirates and ghost-ships.

After all, when was the last time you saw ninjas with wenches?

Check out this set of ghost ships I found (obviously not all pirate ships, but most likely inhabited by ghost pirates) – mixed in with some random artistic flavor for good taste.

Man I love me some pirate lore…the stuff of fantasy!

I picked up the following set also that was apparently some concept art for the new Pirates movie.
