Couldn’t resist posting this one…
Check out these remakes on old statues!
Modernized to fit our culture who is once removed from the hardships of war and struggles of mankind – debased artfully to pop icons these bronze statues of soldiers turn into Super-Man, Ronald McDonald, Santa Clause, The Joker and the ilk.
The lulz of one artist taking another work and speaking something totally different kills me…
Very kool!
These new still shots of large killer robots – so much win for words…

This graphite piece by Joe Fenton from Brooklyn is not only huge, taking 8 months to finish but is intensely detailed.
With so much going on its sort of like a fantastically awesome “Wheres Waldo” picture.
There are so many words that could describe the sheer talent and fabulous creativity behind Dan LuVisi.
He is a digital concept artist working in the film, video game and comic book industry and notorious online poster setting Deviant Art on fire with his awesomeness.
Again, so many words to describe what only feasting your eyes on will begin to describe. Take a look at a few choice cuts pulled from his website also linked below.
Enjoy!

Anyone who has been following me knows I love art.
One of the greatest parts of graffiti art is it usually isn’t done for personal glory or acclaim, but for the sheer love of art itself.
I find graffiti art is usually anti pop-culture and main stream. Sort of an underground club or society of artists demonstrating defiance against the prevalent state of mind.
Whats really interesting is when you find pop-culture references relatable to almost everyone embedded in something traditionally anti.
Enter Star Wars graffiti!

Here is a nice set I picked up meshing the two together in an artistic match made in heaven.
Check ’em.
Nautical nightmare of the salty sea…pirates and ghost-ships.
After all, when was the last time you saw ninjas with wenches?
Check out this set of ghost ships I found (obviously not all pirate ships, but most likely inhabited by ghost pirates) – mixed in with some random artistic flavor for good taste.
Man I love me some pirate lore…the stuff of fantasy!
I picked up the following set also that was apparently some concept art for the new Pirates movie.
