Huge Gun Collection

Although I’ve argued that you can never have too many guns – this collection defiantly escalated beyond hobby.

There are surface-to-air artillery, mortars, and even a flame thrower hanging on the wall. Not to mention enough rifles to arm a small town.

Originally when I found this it was said to be the late Charlton Heston’s Gun vault, however a quick search on Snopes proved that to be bogus.

Apparently these shots were taken of some rich attorneys gun collection and later attached to Heston via a chain email.

Either way…that is one big collection of firearms!

Enjoy!

Optical Swimming Pool Illusion

I happened upon this strange hot-boxing imaginary pool I thought I would share…

It has a thin layer of water encased between the box and the top floor creating the illusion of being under water.

Ya for photo ops!

EDIT: Not water encasement – but rather a piece of glass. (Thanks roarlivia)

And with the help of redditers we were able to uncover this piece is displayed in NY at the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center and present by Leandro Erlich adequately titled “Swimming Pool”

There are so many words that could describe the sheer talent and fabulous creativity behind Dan LuVisi.

He is a digital concept artist working in the film, video game and comic book industry and notorious online poster setting Deviant Art on fire with his awesomeness.

Again, so many words to describe what only feasting your eyes on will begin to describe. Take a look at a few choice cuts pulled from his website also linked below.

Enjoy!

Haunted Theme Park

I found this set of destroyed Six Flags pics after the hurricane Katrina disaster.

They have a creepy post apocalyptic feeling and you fully expect to see zombies peeking out from behind the rides.

Apparently the photographers risked both the zombie attack, and possible arrest to bring them to us for our viewing pleaser.

Star Wars Graffiti Art

Anyone who has been following me knows I love art.

One of the greatest parts of graffiti art is it usually isn’t done for personal glory or acclaim, but for the sheer love of art itself.

I find graffiti art is usually anti pop-culture and main stream. Sort of an underground club or society of artists demonstrating defiance against the prevalent state of mind.

Whats really interesting is when you find pop-culture references relatable to almost everyone embedded in something traditionally anti.

Enter Star Wars graffiti!
(another favorite)

Here is a nice set I picked up meshing the two together in an artistic match made in heaven.

Pinocchios Paradox

20110608-103438.jpg

Everyone knows Pinocchio’s nose grows when he lies.

So if he’s lying about his nose growing – then of course his nose will grow…

…But then of course it wouldn’t have been a lie, because it grew – which shouldn’t have grown, because he told the truth.

But then that means he lied.

I’m pretty this would only end in one of three ways.
